AOV Air 5MP 3K – 4G LTE / 2.4+5GHz Wi-Fi-UK

Unlike ordinary battery cameras that only start recording after an event is detected so they may miss what happened before the trigger. AOV Air uses IMOU’s industry-leading Always-On Video (AOV) 3.0 technology, which enables the camera to capture one image every 2 seconds to save storage space and power when no event is detected, while immediately switching to full event recording when an event occurs. This provides all-day continuous recording while maintaining energy efficiency.

You can set battery thresholds in the IMOU Life app, allowing the camera to automatically switch between AOV recording, Event recording and Power Saving mode as the battery level changes. It maintains more complete recording when sufficient power is available and gradually reduces energy consumption as the battery runs low—without requiring frequent manual adjustments.

• AOV Mode-See the Full Story with Less Power: AOV Mode records full alarm videos and generates footage from quick snapshots the rest of the time.
• Event Mode-Only record event, save more power: Only records footage when an event is detected and does not record between events.
• Power Saving Mode-Extended standby time: Minimizes power consumption to extend standby time while keeping live view available when needed.
• Wired power mode-Record Continuously with Wired Power: Connect to a DC 5V power supply for continuous recording wherever wired power is available.

With its compact, lightweight body and multiple mounting options, AOV Air adapts easily to both indoor and outdoor monitoring. Detach the solar panel and place the camera on a shelf or other flat surface to monitor an entrance, living room, pet area or temporary accommodation. For less conventional indoor viewing angles—such as from a cabinet, high shelf or window area—it can also be paired with an optional flexible stand.

Outdoors, the camera can be installed using adhesive or screws. AOV Air 4G is also ideal for flexible deployment at farms, campsites and other locations beyond Wi-Fi coverage.

When solar charging is required, the separate panel and 4 m cable allow the camera to be positioned for the best monitoring view while the panel is placed where it can receive more sunlight.

The AOV Air series includes two separate camera models: AOV Air with 2.4/5GHz and AOV Air 4G with 4G LTE network connectivity. Both feature a compact, wire-free design and support placement on a flat surface, adhesive mounting or screw mounting for flexible installation.Choose AOV Air for indoor spaces, entrances, courtyards and garages with reliable Wi-Fi coverage. Choose AOV Air 4G for farms, orchards, holiday homes, campsites and other locations without Wi-Fi, using a compatible SIM card and available 4G LTE coverage.

Note: AOV Air 4G does not support Wi-Fi. A compatible SIM card and mobile data plan are required and sold separately. Please contact your local mobile network

Pair AOV Air with up to 3W solar panel to keep its 5000mAh battery topped up using available sunlight. Whether it watches a front entrance, driveway or holiday property, the solar-powered kit reduces the need to remove the camera for manual charging and makes long-term outdoor monitoring easier.

Cold weather can prevent conventional battery cameras from charging even when winter sunlight is available. AOV Track Plus supports low-temperature charging down to −10°C, allowing the solar panel to continue topping up the battery under suitable sunlight during colder months. This helps reduce seasonal charging interruptions and the inconvenience of repeatedly removing an outdoor camera to recharge it indoors.

AOV Air uses image-based AI detection to distinguish people and vehicles and supports an effective detection distance of up to 20 metreswhen ordinary battery camera can only detect in 10m. Earlier detection helps the camera begin recording sooner, providing a more complete view as someone approaches the entrance or a vehicle enters the driveway.

See visitors, vehicles and other important details in sharp 5MP 3K resolution, even after dark. Use full-color night vision when color details matter, or switch to infrared night vision when you want monitoring without visible white light—especially in bedrooms, living spaces or temporary accommodation where bright illumination could be disruptive. Smart Mode can activate the white light after an event is detected to capture a clearer full-color view of the scene.
