Unlike ordinary battery cameras that only start recording after an event is detected so they may miss what happened before the trigger. AOV Track Plus uses IMOU’s industry-leading Always-On Video (AOV) 3.0 technology, which enables the camera to capture one image every 2 seconds to save storage space and power when no event is detected, while immediately switching to full event recording when an event occurs. This provides all-day continuous recording while maintaining energy efficiency.

You can set battery thresholds in the IMOU Life app, allowing the camera to automatically switch between AOV recording, Event recording and Power Saving mode as the battery level changes. It maintains more complete recording when sufficient power is available and gradually reduces energy consumption as the battery runs low—without requiring frequent manual adjustments.

When someone enters your driveway after dark, simply seeing a silhouette is not enough—you may need to distinguish clothing, vehicle color and direction of movement. AOV Track Plus combines an F1.2 large-aperture lens, a light-sensitive 1/2.5-inch BSI sensor, an AI-ISP chip and IMOU’s low-light imaging algorithms to capture brighter, more detailed full-color footage using available ambient light. This reduces reliance on supplemental white light and helps prevent nearby subjects from becoming overexposed, preserving important details when you review the footage. Available in 6MP and 4K 8MP versions, it provides an even clearer view of people, vehicles and their surroundings after dark.

A built-in 10,000mAh battery provides the power needed for extended outdoor monitoring, while the included 5W solar panel uses available sunlight to replenish the battery and reduce the need for frequent manual charging. Installed beside a driveway, above a front garden or near an outdoor parking area, AOV Track Plus can remain ready for everyday protection without requiring a nearby power socket, making it easier to secure the parts of your property where running a cable would be inconvenient.

Cold weather can prevent conventional battery cameras from charging even when winter sunlight is available. AOV Track Plus supports low-temperature charging down to −10°C, allowing the solar panel to continue topping up the battery under suitable sunlight during colder months. This helps reduce seasonal charging interruptions and the inconvenience of repeatedly removing an outdoor camera to recharge it indoors.

Powered by IMOU SENSE® image-based detection, AOV Track Plus can distinguish people and vehicles from irrelevant movement at distances of up to 25m when ordinary battery camera can only detect 10m. When someone approaches your front garden or a vehicle enters the driveway, the camera detects the target earlier and automatically pans and tilts to follow its movement across the area. This combination of intelligent detection and 360° auto tracking helps capture more of the target’s route and surrounding context, giving you a more complete view of the event while reducing blind spots and unnecessary alerts.

When active deterrence is enabled, you can choose to use the red and blue warning lights, spotlight or 110dB siren in response to detected people or vehicles. This gives you greater control greater control over how AOV Track Plus discourages unwanted activity around your driveway, garden or entrance.

Dual-band WiFi 6 delivers smoother streaming and a stronger connection on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks.
